Paladine H. Roye
Paladine was a dear friend of our family and worked with us extensively throughout his career as an artist. The majority of our collection is comprised of an extensive variety of Paladine's work. We're sad that he's no longer making new art, but we're equally honored to share with the world what the gift he left for us all.
Sherman was from the Kiowa tribe of Anadarko, Oklahoma. A muralist, sculptor and painter, he began his artistic career actively in 1982 and played a pivotal role in mid-20th century Native American art.
His education started with his father and expanded to The Institute of Indian Affairs & Art High School, the Institute of American Indian & Alaskan Native Culture & Arts, and Central State University (now Univ of Central Oklahoma).
